CSU East Bay Statement: Wiley Journals
The CSU Libraries have cancelled our systemwide subscription to the online journals published by Wiley because Wiley asked for an annual price increase of 12%. For more information on the CSU decision, see: http://libraries.
CSUEB researchers will not lose access to journal content as a result of this decision. The library currently subscribes to the Academic Search Complete Database, which includes full-text access to most of the journals published by Wiley with a 12 month embargo period. Articles not included in the CSUEB subscriptions can be requested through Get It Now (an article on demand service in which the library pays to have the article delivered to you within one or two hours) or through ILL.
The library will monitor usage of journals through Get It Now and ILL to determine which Wiley journals CSUEB should subscribe to. For more information please contact Jeffra Bussman or Liz Ginno.
